What are Revolutionary Agreements?
In June 1985, Glenn and Marian Head cofounded the Geneva Group, a network of business people formed to support one another in living their highest values in every aspect of their lives, and especially in their businesses. Participants’ commitment to long-term relationships with their clients, staffs, and partners – founded in their belief that we are all connected and thus responsible for the good of the whole – inspired them to develop a set of agreements to guide them in being models for a harmonious world.
That forum met monthly for twenty years, during which time the agreements evolved as they were practiced. The “Revolutionary Agreements” emerged in 2005 as Marian’s version of the essence of those agreements, with an award-winning book of the same name. They are dubbed “Revolutionary” because practicing them has the power to shift one’s life from the prevailing societal paradigm of negativity to one of positivity and infinite possibility.
“Revolutionary Agreements is a though-provoking and inspiring set of techniques to facilitate true peace in personal relationships.” –Former US Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich, 2003 recipient of the Gandhi Peace Award.
What is the Agreements Institute?
The Institute serves coaches, trainers, consultants, and facilitators by providing them with the training, certification, and tools to enjoy greater inner peace during stressful times, and enriched relationships from the boardroom to the bedroom – and to show others how to do the same. Modeling outstanding relationships based on authenticity, respect, and gratitude, Agreements Institute graduates guide their clients to create or adopt Agreements that serve their clients’ lives and chosen work.
Certified Revolutionary Agreements Coaching is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) for 33 continuing education units.
As more of our colleagues offer conscious agreements for their clients to experience greater inner peace, together we cocreate greater Peace on Earth. This is the purpose of the Agreements Institute.
