Objective:

After this session, you will be able to apply agreements with yourself to enrich your relationships with others — without even having to involve the others — and enrich your relationship with yourself. You will be able to use the Facilitator’s Guide and accompanying music and slides to guide others to do the same.

We will cover:

  • Seeing, hearing and experiencing from different perspectives
  • The power of seeing what we believe and focus on

Prior to this session:

  1. Read Chapter on Agreement Ten: I agree to see the best in myself and others.
  2. Complete the Focus on Today exercises at the end of the chapter. Record your responses in your journal.

After this session:

  1. Start your own Gratitude Journal. Daily, in a separate blank book, write down one thing you appreciate about someone (could be you) or some situation you’ve been critical of.
  2. Email your Program Facilitator with a list of your current challenges for which it is hard to see blessings in disguise.
  3. Meet with your buddy at your regularly scheduled time between sessions.
  4. Capture your Insights in this form. Either you or your buddy can do this for both of you.
